CNN's John Sutter says he gets a lot of hate mail for his column in the Philadelphia Inquirer. He argues that Americans owe each other something, even if they don't know what it is. The U.S. seems to have a federal tax tolerance of about 18 percent, which has been constant since the 1960s. "We're going to have to bear that cost somehow," Sutter writes.
