How to Swing Trade
The best type of market to swing trading is obviously one that's trending either up or down, which we certainly don't have this year. We've had a very choppy market that's much different than what we've had in the last several years. So it's made it more difficult for swing trading this year. I use the 60 minute charts a lot to start out with the daily chart whenever I am doing my scanning and looking at any individual setup. Sometimes I'll go a little further with a 15 minute chart, but very often I can find a level that makes sense for me on the 60 minute chart.
