I felt I was having this fight with my friends in modern orthodoxy 25 years ago, who were always picking and choosing. And one of the ways that Jews attack each other is to say, my choices are rooted in obligation and your choices areRooted in choice. Right. Because like, you know, if you're through the right of me, you're a fundamentalist. If you're to the left of me,. you're an eyelist, right, something like that. So that's been, yeah, I mean, even that no more about that than I do.
