The Importance of Second Chances

I believe firmly that people should be able to get a second chance after making a mistake, especially when they're not legal at all. I think perhaps if you murder your girlfriend's mom and then shoot a pawn shop owner during a robbery, an avenue that we ought to close to you is representing the National Rifle Association as a boy. Like maybe that's not okay. That is insane. And this is the guy who's made it easier for fucking everyone in the world in the United States. He's the NRA's general counsel. So at one point, I assume he went to law school. Nice to know we live in the land of opportunity like that.
