George W. Bush's Choice of John Roberts on the Supreme Court

When Roosevelt was picking his justices, like, he didn't pick some segregationists. He cared about making sure the New Deal would be upheld. George W. Bush just wanted a court that would uphold his national security policies. John Roberts is really far to the right on things like Guantanamo Bay. Who knows what we're gonna be fighting over in 20 years?
