Is There a Real Recession?
The main part that most people are talking about is unemployment. The household survey actually looks like we haven't had any job growth for several months. So it just kind of depends what metrics you look at. I focus on the metrics that the Fed focuses on because the Fed makes policy based on the stuff they focus on. Inflation is still high, and bond market tells me a recession is not only inevitable but increasingly imminent.
