The viewer is part of the feedback loop. It's not taught that way in art school. If you go to the art institute, they don't talk about artwork this way. I think it instinctually, they might oftentimes put different words to it, but it's the way a lot of artists feel. And anyway, so I would encourage everybody really and I encourage my students again.
