In competition, there's so many different ways that people play the game. I don't get tapped usually in competition. The only time that i've lost in comp has been when somebody just gets a position where it's hard to like, move and they win by points. But even playing guard is a way for you to get an offand to move in it some absolutely. So there's a lot to it, but it's super fun.
