And they spread rats tho lote parts of the world, which had before not had plague. So we should be worried because of that history. But also their role in the current pandemic. We know quite certainly that rodents were not the the development, initial development of the corono virus. That was most likely bats. But rodents were certainly involved in the obecron variant and it's now spreading among lots of different animal species - including humans.
