The Tension Between Charitable Giving and the Syrian Crisis
In September 2015, Island Curdie was a three year old Syrian boy who washed up a shores on the on the beaches of Turkey dead. Nothing has captured this crisis like the picture that we began with last night,. It's hard to watch, but it should be seen. There is an axiom in fundraising that one is greater than 10 million. One death is a tragedy and millions is just a statistic.
