Pipelines are triggered at a point of emerging to main, that's when the pipelines get triggered. I use Husky to basically run my own pipeline before I push every commit. It will compile on my doing compile type script and then it will run all the unit tests. And if anything's failing, it'll provoke me from pushing - same with BHP. Do you use GitHub actions by any chance? Not yet. We're not there and didn't change yet.
