The SNL Sketches of the 80s and 90s
SNL has always had that Harvard lampoon sensibility which is a very male northeastern sensibility you see sketches now that are absolutely from a female perspective or from a black perspective. It's really hard to do that if the people running the show have skewed a little older and they definitely default to celebrity stuff impersonations always win right repeatable sketches and impersonations became kind of the bread and butter about the mid 90s but they don't do repeats anymore well that would be great, he says.
