The FDIC's Decision to Take Depositors Money Out
On Sunday afternoon, there's an official announcement from the FDIC and other federal bodies saying that they will find a way to ensure that depositors money will be safe. On Monday comes along and we have access to all of our funds, the insured and uninsured. I was amazed at just how quickly that access had been restored. So what made you take that decision and not support the bank, which was a moral position you would ready to take Thursday morning? "The most important thing for me to do is to protect the shareholders of the company"
