The Importance of Repentance

In Western society spiritual shift to place cause primarily due to great loss of practice knowledge over many decades and worship whatever your faith. Besides prayer I think repentance could be a great ally granted my family and hardly any religious background but asking people religious background doesn't seem to know much more about repentance than I do in today society is hard to wake up.
