In the late 1980s and early 90s, Nintendo was exploding in popularity. Like any other computer system, it needed semiconductors. Min realized that Nintendo was probably going to want a lot of American-made semiconductors because of new 20% trade agreement. If Min could somehow land that contract, maybe that would be enough money to fund his dream of building a proper semiconductor factory. But it was going to take an epic scheme to land that deal.
