Anti-Hypertensive Drugs

Most of my neuro patients have very specific reasons that we want. Propofol is not an anti-hypertensive. It's a sedative. I'll go by and be like, why is this patient on max dose propofol? Well, then let's do something about their blood pressure,. But they don't need to be deep sedated. Unless you think the blood pressure is a marker for anxiety or something like that. Right. So while we're talking about beta blockers and things, what about heart rates? So say somebody has a rapid AFib and you just want to slow them down, where you control them. And then you turn to first Metoprolol
