The Earliest Internal Records of What Masons Were Thinking and Doing
Masons considered their building craft to be the same thing, on the one hand, as the science of geometry. So those words could be used almost interchangeably, masonry and geometry. And also, they considered it synonymous with their society, their fraternal group of mason's right? They were the practitioners of this ancient art of geometry, slash masonry.
