When you chase psychological values, mindfulness can get you into trouble. The purpose and function of those things are tor you of what you care about to help you read the current situation. Your emotions aren't unsafe. They're your biggest ally. Yes, you can create a world in which they play out in ways that are unsafe,. But when you know that you're able to respond, that means you'r response able so you're responsible. And if you're not, better pray for somebody to come along who is. Because that means you don't have any ability to respond. You'll spend the rest of your life learning how to be more flexible and conscious here in the present and focus
