Skate Punk's glory years began in late 1994 and continued for a good 10 years. The Offspring became part of the mid-90s holy trinity of punk rock, along with Green Day. Founder Kevin Lyman wanted a Lola Palooza-like traveling music festival that was heavily biased towards punk rock.
