How Do You Get Your Emotion Concepts From Past Experience?

We often use this internal system to get an extra sense for free, I think of it like a badly calibrated spider band sense. But sometimes that internal coordination breaks down because of something that is not about the outside world at all. The tricky bit for us is that we are our reverse inference problem is more complicated than for other animals. We also have to determine whether there even is a cause of something in the world that's causing our affective change. Sometimes there's really nothing there. And the cause is really a purely physical cause that we have to attend ourselves to.
