How to Use APIs to Automate Your Home Automation System
A lot of people have things like Nest thermostats or they've got different cameras from different manufacturers. Travis has built a module we've community open-source it module that makes it really easy interface with all of those different APIs. He also tapped into the energy of that so he can actually see the current state of energy use of the house and how energy is flowing. The way I wrote my code wasn't perfectly transportable to that how I did my system but it's been awesome.
