The Prodigal Son

The lost coin is the woman's dowry. When a woman got married she could take into her marriage a dowry. She only has about 10 coins or 10 days wages and that tells me that her family is probably not very well to do but to lose one of them would be devastating. So when she finds it in verse 9 she says, I have found the peace which I had lost. And then the Savior says, I say unto you there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
