A frustrated non-reward leads to irritability and we see irritability across many DSM five diagnoses so irritability and more broadly just maladaptive mood just regulation. In bipolar disorder in kids irritability is one the cardinal symptoms that can be the presentation of a mania in kids. Up to 50 percent of kids with ADHD really having big struggles with the emotional regulation difficulties.
