Is Real Estate a Better Investment Than Stocks?

We're entering a period where a sovereign government bond is no longer risk-free. Focusing on how to make your life wonderful and what you need physically in your environment is a much better use of time than quibbling over rates of return for money that you put somewhere else. I have a new position with a higher salary in an area I would like to move out of. My house is paid off and I'm considering purchasing another property in an areaI consider a better jurisdiction. So far, I will not be able to work remotely. I would use quite a bit of my savings for the down payment take out a mortgage and run it out. Is this a prudent course of action
