Is Cryptocurrency Really a Ponzi Scheme?

Chris: I don't fully understand this story and maybe that's as much Mr. Bankman Fried's business models fault as with my misunderstanding. Cryptocurrency in general I think is basically a scam or at least it's a kind of Ponzi scheme or a pyramid scheme. No one really understands why these things suddenly dip or suddenly go up. It's just a completely, it's a speculation in something that has no inherent value whatsoever. Chris: The bigger picture with the stock market is that I've done OK out the stock market in the last couple of years because I tend to invest in companies that actually sell things and make money.
