Progressive and the Blown Man

There's this sort of no true Scotsman kind of thing that goes on with a lot of progressives where progressivism is just always right. There have been plenty of times in American history where the left were the bad guys, and I'm not saying that all their ideas were illegitimate or yada yada. If you're going to score the points about things that we can all agree were bad, it was the liberals who did it. The idea that you could be both progressive and the villain makes Harvey Mudds' heads explode.
