Sweden's Taxes Aren't Worth What We're Paying

If we were taxed in the US at the same rate that people are taxed in Sweden, the average American would owe an extra $13,000 a year in taxes. To have whatever it is that Sweden has is going to cost us an extra $ 13,000 ayear. If you go around and you take a look at how Europeans live both in cities and in the country, it would be FUTTL Americans. Their average house is probably half the size of the average American house. They have one car, they don't have two cars. Europe lives at a standard that Americans would find ridiculous. Free healthcare notwithstanding.
