Miller and Warrell - The Case for the Seven Girls
James miller was sentenced to serve six consecutive life sentences with a non parole period of 35 years. Jury deliberated for eight hours before returning their verdict for the murders of sylvia pitman, julie mckade, vike howe, connie ordanides, tanya kenny and deborah lamb. Miller's defence lawyer warn the jury against using miller as a scapegoat for chris warrell's crimes. He reminded them that miller wasn't being charged with being an accessory to murder or helping to dispose of the bodies, but that he was being accused of the murders themselves.
