Crickets Are a Sub-Species of Insects

Baby crickets don't hang out with their parents, so there isn't a lot of calling between parent and baby. By the time they hatch out, generally their adults have either died off or or nowhere around. There are one or two species of cricket where the eggs are actually laid in a burrow - but that's quite rare. That sort of parental care type social system is very rare in in crickets, but it does happen in a few species.
