The Privacy Argument for AI and Civilizational Collapse
The US has pretty strong fair use protections because we have such a large entertainment industry. But I think it feels like this is a good way to slow things down. If there is a concern that the existing laws do not offer sufficient protections, given the size of the like AI based, scraping based industry, it seems like it would have to be legislative ultimately.
