Joel: Intense are basically how apps talk to each other, and apps talk internally as well. So if you want to launch a different activity, you want to start a different screen on your app, you would do that via an intent, right? You would start activity, you craft an intent that says, I want to launch this activity. And that goes in the intent filter, which we'll talk aboutintent filters a little bit.
