When Mathematica first came out in 1988 there was sort of a a transition that I alluded to earlier it hadn't been the case that typical scientists theoretical scientists and so on expected to use a computer themselves. Now many years later many more people know Wolf language as well as other programming languages. It provides this way to sort of broaden the access to the power of computation to a much broader range of people, he says.
