I love this idea of a spectrum that exists morally, metaphysically, legally. I wonder if that spectrum could also exist in terms of these ideas of representation. So for example, could you have an octopus that combined with chat GTP, he can start speaking to us? And then the question becomes, is that the octopus's agency that's speaking or is it chat GTP's agency that’s speaking? 48 hours before this recording, someone's already released an article about whether they're going to use chat GTP to identify whale song or whales speaking.
