In all of her stories, somebody in the plot appears to be nice and normal. But really that person can sort of transform into a killer or gun man. So they're assisting on 400 pounds per year, which now is 10 times their annual salary. That takes us up to an interesting moment in Agatha's Young Life. It's interesting how it's that she can't see that her mother is now the authority figure. She has to make him into a man. Also, it's framed immediately in that kind of violent criminal framework.
