Role Descriptions in Org Charts as a Manager

Sally Kohn: I think role descriptions are a good starting point in terms of, you know, like, okay, we're looking for someone who has these skills to help our team do X or Y. But your goal is to have everyone on the team, again, buy into that shared vision for why everybody's here. She says managers need to make sure they remind people what their purpose is and how it relates to larger organizations. "It's hard to connect what we're doing here at the ground level in a larger organization," she says.
