The FBI isn't subject to dispatch bias in the same way. The setting matters when, and this speaks to the FBI comparison,. We found that when the situation is more rigid, meaning the officers are more familiar with the setting or the type of setting like a convenience store, we found that bias significantly reduces. When there's more ambiguity, such as being in public and police officers show up, say, they like to a protest, and there're 10 people standing around and there's a broken window behind them, that bias is more likely to come out there.
