The Electricity Company Is a Monument to Socialism

Lebanon's electricity company is an enormous monument to socialism. People have just normalized it because it's an entire company that gets $2 billion a year to fail basically. The money has been wasted on people who have been getting a salary for 30 years from the electricity company without even turning up to the office. And so they're constantly messing with people so that they can get a bribe in order to stop messing with people. That's where the money has been spent over 30 years. It's the economic destruction that has been happening over 30 years, which has been getting paper over by fake credit money and then fake paper money eventually blows up as inflation.
