The Relationship Between Contemplation and Activist Life
There's often a tension between the contemplative life and the activist life. There are those who lean more toward activism, which I would consider that horizontal relationship. The contemplative life is about changing me inside to become more content on the inside. And by polarity, I mean things that seem at odds with each other, but actually mutually reinforce each other.
