I think oftentimes as managers, and I certainly made this mistake early, it's actually the small stuff that you need to manage. So talking about the 100% true one, so you would roll out that tool in your toolkit if someone is starting,. say you want them to do something, a bigger project, and you're noticing a lack of confidence. And maybe they are over performing in some areas, but maybe in some critical areas, they're not. Absolutely. If you wait for a performance review, as we all say, you're managing the fallout, not the problem.
