In the book of isaiah chapter 38, we get some encouragement. We're also hitting morrow and forty in the book of ekkah. In baruk chapters five and six, jeremiah reminds people that idols are not real. And even if you aren't tempted to worship these false idols, you might be tempted to be superstitious about them.
