The Biden Administration Is Walking Up the Escalatory Ladder

If we escalate, it's not likely to be the end of the game. The Russians are being granted a sanctuary in metropolitan Russia largely because we want a sanctuary in Poland. Both sides have already been walking up the escalatory ladder. There is plenty of escalation on going and there's lots of risk that it could go quite a bit further.
