You Don't Have to Throw Out Standards of Reginality
Post modernism commits you to a massive engagement with the world and with the past in a way that i find intoxicating and exhilarating. The skills you learn in literary analysis are incredibly useful to your own life, as well as to virtually any job that anybody is ever going to have. You don't have to throw out standards of reginality. No, no. What it did was it proliferated and multiplied the types of standards that exist. That's where real knowledge that's where real engagement, that's where something like progress with a very small p happens.
