Egypt's Bailout Will Hurt the Living Standards of the Average Egyptian
Egypt will have to go back to the IMF for an even larger bailout. The IMF is going to ask them for a number of harsh economic reforms. In anticipation throughout Egypt people are already protesting. I think from Xi Jinping's point of view all he can hope is he can still maintain enough external support and that at some point the economy will get better. That's pretty well the message that he delivers is pretty unsatisfactory but I don't think there's much alternative available.
