A disdistributism is a descendant of catholic social teaching. It was g k Chesterton and hilaire belloc who started developing this notion of distributism. They say, what we need is the polar opposite of marxism: small scale private ownership. When private things get too big, they become pathological as well, especially where we prop them up. And there a major solution is progressive taxation on large things that are not used for public good.
