Sonny Rollins and the Modern Jazz Quartet

This record is very important for me because it's a record that really kind of consolidated my sense of self within so-called jazz music. I found connections everywhere and those connections might be musical connections between different players but also connections like the one that I think is the reason where I resonate so much with Sonny Rollins his play. This was kind of my window into the world of seeing it as a as a family tree rather than a list to kind of work through and through geeking out on this record.
