Praxis: The West thinks it's fighting on the side of humanity. And once you think that, you're permitted to sort of do many more things. Praxis says his psychology is perfectly, or rather, his eschatology isn't actually that depressing because he advocates a withdrawal. So even within Gerard, I don't think it's that bleak for the individual or doesn't have to be, but it certainly is for history.
