The Angel Is Telling Hagar, Don't Give in to Your Natural Self
If you can be submissive, then perhaps sarai can remain submissive too. If you can rise to your best self, people will typically follow you in that ascension. Same with going down. In terms of that that pride from below sparked that pride from above. I love that the angel is telling is telling hagar, don't give in to your natural self either. Don't just run away, cause that's what, that's what defines you. Turn around. Those two words, return and submit pretty good synonyms for repentance, right? Pretty good indicators that she is coming back up to her better self.
