The Purpose of Community Groups at New City
Damien: Most people's experience with the community in the church is going to be in the form of a community group. And so when I heard you in Damien use the language of having crucified community groups, only later to resurrect them for new city, I asked myself, well, what really is different? He says there is such a great emphasis on purpose and then like, as he just mentioned, purpose determines what the patterns and practices are going. "There's high relationship, high responsibility, high intimacy, high accountability," New City will say.
