On October 5, 2009 David Letterman arrived at work to a pile of jokes on his desk. All of those jokes made fun of or made light of his confession on the previous week's Late Show where he told the world about his affairs. He finally acknowledged his wife Regina for the first time since the story broke. Do you think there's any way that Regina saw the first monologue and was enraged that her name wasn't even mentioned? No. I truly believe that that's how she would have wanted it. Maybe she was watching it saying, do not involve me in this. This is your shit to deal with.
