I was 12 when I got on the bus three blocks from my house to travel to a friend's house. The man sitting in the back corner looked at me with these blank eyes and turned away. My gut feeling was that something was very off but I can't know for sure. Today I took my dog for a walk around the neighborhood. When I came back I noticed the man I had never seen before pacing near the bottom of my street. There seemed to be no home in particular he was waiting out front of  and just continued to pace.
